At least 65 U.S. citizens remain missing following catastrophic flooding along the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa District, according to updated reports released by Nepal Police.

The Americans are among 644 foreign and Nepali nationals who remain unaccounted for following the disaster. Official figures from Nepal Police show that India has the highest number of missing foreign nationals, with 178 citizens unaccounted for, while 127 Nepalis are also missing. In social media posts, Radhika Sharma said she has been unable to locate her parents, Ramesh Sharma, 65, and Neelam Sharma, 64, following flooding near the Nepal-Tibet/China border. She said both are U.S. citizens and appealed for information from people with contacts in Nepal, Gyirong, Tibet, local hospitals, rescue operations, government agencies or media outlets.
